Emerald Zoysia

Emerald Zoysia is smooth to the touch and very easy on the eye, which makes it one of the most appealing zoysia varieties. With regular maintenance and care, this grass will make your lawn a real thing of beauty. 

Based on shade tolerance, this grass performs better than Meyer Zoysia. It sports a dark green color, with fine-textured leaves and according to reports from our customers, it is less tough. 

Emerald Zoysia does not cope well with winter, unlike other Zoysia types. It can, however, grow thatch quicker than most, which negates the need for too much fertilizing. 

Just as we earlier stated, Emerald Zoysia will perform better in lawns that are regularly cared for. Tasks such as mowing and removing clippings have to be performed at regular intervals. 

Emerald Zoysia is shade tolerant, and with at least an inch of water per week and four hours of sun, it will glow radiantly.
